WHY I BELIEVE IN CONNECTICUT AND WANT TO BE YOUR NEXT GOVERNOR

LETS MAKE CONNECTICUT A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE AND WORK

A vibrant economy is essential to sustaining a high quality of life. Using Connecticut’s natural beauty, convenient location, and world class institutions of higher learning as a foundation, we can regain our leadership status in the world market.

WE CAN FIX IT RIGHT THIS TIME

Connecticut is no stranger to fiscal crisis. In the past we have added taxes, made cuts without a plan and maxed out our credit card. This time we must fix the systemic failures that exist in state government. We need a balanced tax structure. We need to practice the time-tested fundamentals of financial management. We need to reorganize and reduce the size of our bureaucracy to meet the needs of Connecticut and the citizens they should serve.

LETS ALL PULL IN THE SAME DIRECTION

Connecticut’s 169 municipal governments have been described as a "throwback" to colonial times, as if that is a bad thing. To me that implies local service, provided by neighbors we know and trust and administered by the most accountable system available, local elections. Connecticut state government must recognize the assets provided by our municipalities and integrate their strengths into overall state governance.

MY CAMPAIGN IS A PRODUCT OF COMMON SENSE AND GRASS ROOTS EFFORT.

I am not participating in public financing; Connecticut does not have the money to finance my or any other campaign. I do not have an office full of high-paid consultants. My beliefs and plans have been formed through my experiences, the input of Connecticut residents just like you and common sense. If you share these beliefs, please GET INVOLVED, TELL OTHERS and CONTRIBUTE! This is the most difficult part of the political process.
